High temperature hot oil pumps are used in industrial applications for heat transfer. the multistage pumps for liquids near their vapour temperature use a low nosh centrifugal first stage and subsequent side channel gas handling stages to keep the liquid from vaporising. These are often used on steam condensate return lines and LPG transfer applications.
